Simon Says: Cute and Cuddly

Hello crafty friends and it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Cute and Cuddly and we are featuring always fun Newton's Nook products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

I always love a good puppy stamp and die set! I started by colouring my stamp using my COPICS. I realized that I have not coloured in far too long, it was nice and relaxing. I used the accompanying die and then stamped my sentiment from the same Puppy's cookie jar stamp set by Newton's Nook.

I then used this Newton's Nook Argyle stencil and ink blended my background to match the cookie jar.

I decided to use this really great Waffle Flower Friend die, I love the scale. I added the die cut to the panel then glued my puppy and the extra cookies.  I finished off with my iridescent gems!

Simon Says: Shake It Up!

Hello crafty friends and it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

These dies are so fun! The scale is perfect for either a gift tag or to use as I did for an A2 size card front. I die cut my pieces and put everything together including my sequins and pearls (linked below).

I decided on Vanilla Malt card stock (love this colour, softens the end result) and ink blended my Pretty Pink Posh Stencil.

I added some twine from my stash the you  dies by Pink Fresh and some chocolate candy hearts by Trinity from my stash.

Love a good stencil! These layering stencils by Simon Says Stamp are so much fun to play with! I ink blended my new Pink Pastel Ink by Simon Says Stamp first then the Carnation Pawsitively Saturated ink on the second block stencil.

I then ink blended one of the heart stencils with red ink and for the second stencil I used Tonic glitter paste.

Once that was dry, I die cut my glitter paper using the Love you more dies. I used foam tap tape to glue them to the panel. To finish off, some red hearts from my stash.

I just love leafy cards! Green is also my favourite colour so I had fun doing this one! I embossed my background panel and did some very light ink blending on the top to define the shapes.

I die cut my lattice and glued it to the panel and die cut my leak, added some darker colour to the ends.

I stamped and die cut my sentiment glued all of my elements to my lattice and finished off adding my green drops.

I love a good fun sentiment and Riley and Company does provide those! I started by ink blending my background with my new Simon Says Stamp Pastel Pink Ink and added some watercolour splatters on the background.

I die cut my elements for the martini glass and assembled my pieces. I chose this fun sentiment and stamped it a cut it into two pieces.

I added all of my elements to the card using glue and foam tape. I added some glossy accents to the top of the martini glass and set it aside to dry. Once dry I added my sentiments and some gems!

Simon Says: Clean and Simple!

Hello crafty friends and it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Clean and Simple and we are featuring Hero Arts products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

I just love being able to use felt with critter dies. I started by choosing my background paper and then chose my matching felt. I die cut my elements and put my penguin together and set her aside to work on my background.

I used a Simon Says Stamp 3D embossing folder for my patterned paper and a beautiful snowflake die to frame leaving enough plain space in the centre.

I added my penguin to the cards and die cut the Yay You sentiment and added it to my card. To finish off, my favourite iridescent gems!

Simon Says: Get In Shape!

Hello crafty friends and it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Get In shape and we are featuring Altenew products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

I ordered some of the newer Altenew card stocks and figured it was as good a time to feature it. It is 80lbs, a little lighter than I like but the texture is fantastic and the colours are so fun to work with. I die cut my panels and used a Spellbinders Embossing folder scored my backing piece and glued them together. I ink blended to top panel using some purple ink to mimic my flowers.

I added my gold frame on top of the panel and die cut my elements for the florals. I ink blended the flowers and the leaves. I added the gold centres and finished them off with gold gems. I glued my flowers to the panel. I used the same purple ink for my sentiment and added it to my panel. To finish off, the same gold gems scattered on the panel.
