Paper Smooches Sparks - Picture Perfect Challenge

Edit, well apparently they have changed their submission deadline lol! I was too late to submit this. Here is my submission for the Paper Smooches Sparks Picture Perfect Challenge for this week. Had time enough today to finish-up some holiday tags and cards, Montréal, as many places in the east, has been blanketed with 25 cm of snow! Better on a Sunday then a workday! Besides my dogs are so happy we are home to play in the snow with them :)

Runway Inspired Challenge # 48

This inspiration photo for the Runway Inspired Challenge made me feel like it was the month of June! Oooo can't wait for that and winter has just begun! Sniff, sniff!  Okay, at least it makes me think of good things to come! I was inspired by the pastel colours along with the flowers and the punch of black.

Hero Arts Christmas - A Few of My Favorite Things

Here is a set I made using the Archivers/Hero Arts stamp and die set with lots 'o glitter, as a matter of fact my dog Duffy is still wearing the glitter! I am submitting these under "A few of my favourite things". The stamping on glitter technique is one of my favourites for the holidays.

Again, lots 'o glitter!

To make the ornaments I used double sided tape sheets. Glued one side to thin plain white card stock, die cut the ornaments then removed the tape covering from the top part and glittered the surface.  Sprayed with glue to hold the glitter in-place.  This is from a tutorial I saw on Barb Engler's blog last year (see link here).

Papertrey Ink - making my first plaid backgrounds

Happy Friday all! I am so looking forward to a quiet weekend, although we are supposed to see our first light snow tomorrow… Not ready for that yet!  

I received my first Papertrey Ink order this week, I was so excited and looking forward to trying the plaid technique that I saw by Laura Bassen in the Insider Card class.  These are the two I came up with for the holidays.

Hero Arts Neon Christmas - Merry and Bright
