Daisies for a friend!

Happy Monday! I can't believe October has arrived, where does the time go!

I made this card for a friend, I had been wanting to play with these amazing Simon Says Stamp exclusive brand Daisies since they arrived. I know it's October eve but this card is for a fried whose mother loved Daisies.

This is a simple card but I do love the way it turned out. I stamped my flowers and coloured them in with my Neutral Grey Copics for a white shaded effect.  I added some blue on the outline to try and bring out the "white" shading of the daisies.

I die cut my Friend sentiment from both Simon Says stamp Fog cardstock and Tonic satin gold cardstock.  I also added the secondary sentiment also stamped with a grey ink to not take away from the daisies.

For the flower centres, I added some Tonic Nuvo drops in gold. I glued my sentiments and added a sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins!

Simon Says: Anything Goes featuring Crafter's Companion!

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes! The design team is featuring Crafter's Companion products! It isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $50 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I love a bold black cardstock with rainbow colors! I started this card by ink blending my Neena Solar White panel with a rainbow array of Distress Oxide Inks.  They are such a smooth blend! I left the panel to the side to dry properly.

I used my Gemini Junior to die cut my Crafter's Companion Clamshell Horizon die from Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Cardstock. I lined it up with my background and I just love the bold rainbow!

I paired it with the MFT Celebrate die that I cut from a StickIt, Fun Foam and Tonic Glitter Paper sandwich and a secondary sentiment that I white embossed.

To finish off, I added some Studio Katia Irridescent Bubbles that bring out the rainbow background!

My Favorite Things Critters

Happy Tuesday! I have been missing my crafty mojo over the last month. Maybe it was the summer outdoors, or vacation but I am trying to get my card-making mojo back. I thought what a better way to try and kickstart then some Copics and Critters!

I hadn't yet had the chance to color in these super sweet critters from the Sending Sweet Celebration set by Stacy Yakula.  I stamped them out and coloured them with my Copic markers and used the accompanying dies.

I die cut my panel with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle die and glued my critters and banner with a mix of the MFT glue tube and foam tape. I stamped and silver embossed my sentiment from the same set and used one of the MFT  Fishtail Flag Trio Die-Namics.

To finish off my card, I added some pompoms to the Birthday hats, some Glossy Accents and some white gel pen for highlights!

Thanks so much for taking the time!

Simon Says: Interactive!

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Interactive! The design team is featuring always amazing Lawn Fawn products! It isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $50 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I had so much fun making this card, for some reason I adore making Halloween cards even if we have no children and never hand-out candy at Halloween due to my dogs barking at the doorbell... lol! Every year I have this need to play with my Halloween craft stash!

I decided to use my Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel for this Interactive card design. I die cut all of the elements necessary for the reveal wheel and I ink blended all of the pieces with Distress Oxide Inks. I did this first because I wanted the panels to dry properly after spraying them for texture while I prepped my images.

I stamped all of my images on Neena Solar white (I also used Neena for the base panels as I was using Oxide Inks) I coloured everything in with my Copic Markers and used the accompanying dies.

I put my Reveal Wheel together after embossing and stamping all of my sentiments and my three bats.

I decided to die cut some Lawn Fawn Grassy Borders and the Spooky fence also by Lawn Fawn and added a bit of Black Soot to darken everything for effect. I put all of my elements together on the card base.

I die cut my Halloween die from some Simon Says Stamp glitter cardstock and glued that to the bottom. To finish off, I added some white gel pen detail to the images.

Fall Flowers with a Hello!

Happy Friday crafty friends! A fall MFT inspired floral card today!

I started by die cutting my MFT Stitched Blooms in a mix of Lawn Fawn and Simon Says Stamp colored cardstocks and added some shading with a mix of Distress Inks. Then I chose to the American Crafts Pattern Paper from the Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit to compliment the flowers and the early fall theme.

I die cut my white top panel with one of my MFT Stitched Scallop borders.  I glued my pattern paper to the card base, then the white panel with foam tape. I added my flowers with a mix of foam tape and glue for the blooms that are flat on the panel.

I die cut my MFT Hello die from Tonic Harvest Gold paper and glued that to the top of the panel and to finish off, added some heart confetti and some white gel pen detail!

Simon Says: Bling It On!

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Bling It On! The design team is featuring Stamping Bella products! It isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $50 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

I love these Uptown Girls from Stamping Bella! They are such fun and this Thelma and Louise was a must to play with for this week!  I stamped my image and colored it in with Copics then die cut my panel using the largest Avery Elle Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die.

I stamped my sentiment on a piece of Lawn Fawn Mermaid cardstock and trimmed it down to size. I then added some Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter to the bottom of the card for my "bling". I like the effect it gave.

I used foam tape for the sentiment and the panel and then added it to my cardbase. I then added glossy accents to parts of the card, sunglasses and bottle. I waited for it to dry then added white gel pen detail and few enamel hearts and sparkling clear sequins.

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember 2019

Happy Friday Eve crafty friends! I got to play with this gorgeous Flora Cling Background Stamp from the Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Brand STAMPtember release!

I saw the background stamp and immediately decided it needed to be embossed in gold! I used Lawn Fawn Vanilla Malt cardstock instead of pure white to offset the gold a little more.

I started by using my Misti and stamping my panel with InkOn3 to use my Copics on a select section of the blooms. I chose navy because I never use navy, lol! Feels good sometimes to leave the comfort zone!

ç

Once I finished colouring the blooms, I placed my panel back int he Misti and stamped a few times with my Versamark ink. I then added Simon Says Stamp Antique Gold embossing ink and heat set. I was really happy with the way it looked.

I die cut the panel using rounded rectangles. I chose the Big Friend Shadow die and die cut it from Lawn Fawn Blue Jay cardstock and Tonic Harvest gold for the shadow.

I added the "beautiful" from the Simon Says Stamp Sketch Ranunculus stamp set on the same Blue Jay cardstock and rounded the bottom corners to mimic the panel corners.

To finish off, I added some Nuvo drops on the i guess "berries" of the background stamp!

Simon Says: Stamp It

Hello crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Stamp It! The design team is featuring always amazing Simon Says Stamp Brand Exclusives! Woot!  It isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them!

Come join in on the fun, you have the chance of winning a $50 gift card to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp store!

Even better it's that wonderful time of year for STAMPtember! WOOT! Simon Says Stamp not only released their own exclusive collection for STAMPtember on September 1 but they will have a month-long series of collaborations with your favorite stamp companies :) :) :)

I chose the beautiful For All Moms stamp set that was released this spring by Simon Says Stamp. This is such a fantastic stamp set, it has beautiful flowers and butterflies as I used here but it also has adorable critters, coffee themed stamps and fantastic sentiments. A stamp set that included a huge variety that every crafter should have in their stash!

I stamped and colored my flowers and butterfly with my Copic markers in colors I don't usually use, it felt good to go out of my comfort zone! I felt these were a little more seasonal.  I fussy cut my images and added a bit of white gel pen detail.

For the background, I die cut the older Stacked Diamonds wafer die (I love this die) from Tonic Harvest gold specialty paper. I added StickIt on the Harvest gold before die cutting to make adhering it to the panel easier.  I chose to add a few of the negative diamonds back in the die cut.

I then used foam tape for my images and finished off with a sentiment from the same set and some Pretty Pink Posh Jewels.
