Happy Tuesday crafty friends! Sharing my February blues today with this card using all Cas-ual Friday's products :) My inspiration was a CAS-ual Friday's card that I did three or so years ago linked here.
This card began with the background using my trusty Distress Inks. I used Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio. Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch. Once that was complete I added splatters of Distress Paint in Black Soot, Picket Fence and Bronze and set it aside to dry.
I chose black for my die cut because I felt it really helped the background pop. I die cut three for dimension - two from Black Licorice cardstock and one from Tonic Black glitter paper for the top.
I die cut three of the hello also by Cas-ual Friday's from Neena and Tonic glitter paper glued them together and white embossed my secondary sentiment on Black Licorice Cardstock. I put everything together, trimmed the base panel with my trimmer after adding the top die cuts. To finish off, I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins by Pretty Pink Posh.
