Simon Says Stamp - United We Craft Blog Party!

Happy Saturday Crafty Friends! Today is the Simon Says Stamp - United We Craft Blog Party #sssUnitedWeCraft

We all needs some happy and positivity what better than a crafty blog party!

Simon Says Stamps intention in creating the #SSSUnitedWeCraft hashtag was to encourage everyone to show the human side of quarantined creativity (as well as the beautiful things that everyone is creating) "We would love for you to share photos with you and your family creating—your kids, your significant other, your pets, or anyone else in your house OR photos of Zoom craft sessions or Instagram story parties that you are having with your creative friends. We want to show how crafting is bringing us together in new ways. You can share your photos in your blog post (if you are doing a blog), but we would really love for you to share sweet, crafty faces on Instagram and use the hashtag #SSSUnitedWeCraft to allow us to see the happiness that our craft is bringing to the world.”

I made two projects for the Blog party, I figured what a great time to start forging ahead on Christmas cards! This is Magic of Christmas set by Simon Says Stamp that I hadn't yet had a chance to ink up, it arrived after I was done with my holiday cards this past holiday season.  This is a beautiful more traditional set and I love it!

I stamped my images on craft with brown and green hybrid inks, I added color using my polychromes pencils.  I stamped my sentiment and embossed it using Ranger Metallic Red Glitter embossing powder. I then added Picket Fences Distress Paint to act as snow. To finish off I added some red gems to act as berries and some Pretty Pink Posh red sequins.

My second card features the newer Stencil Daisy, this is the second card I made with this stencil. For this one I inked the flowers once using a mix of Distress Oxide inks and then shifted the stencil to make the daisies a little more full.

I die cut my panel using my Avery Elle Wonky Stitched Rectangle die.

I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Celebrate die with both Lawn Fawn Guava and Paper Bag Cardstocks.   Finished off adding some clay hearts and some enamel dots from my stash to the flower centres.
