Simon Says: Get In Shape!

Hello crafty friends and it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Get In shape and we are featuring Altenew products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

I ordered some of the newer Altenew card stocks and figured it was as good a time to feature it. It is 80lbs, a little lighter than I like but the texture is fantastic and the colours are so fun to work with. I die cut my panels and used a Spellbinders Embossing folder scored my backing piece and glued them together. I ink blended to top panel using some purple ink to mimic my flowers.

I added my gold frame on top of the panel and die cut my elements for the florals. I ink blended the flowers and the leaves. I added the gold centres and finished them off with gold gems. I glued my flowers to the panel. I used the same purple ink for my sentiment and added it to my panel. To finish off, the same gold gems scattered on the panel.

Hello crafty friends and HAPPY NEW YEAR!  It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

I had not used my colour pencils in so long! I had fun colouring this, I adore Kraft and coloured pencils :)

I started by using my Simon Says Stamp Outline Hearts Stencil from the newest To Love release with White Unicorn Ink and set the panel aside to dry. I then stamped my image and coloured in my dog with my Faber Castetell Polychromos pencils.

I die cut my Whimsy Stamps Heart and lined up my stamp, stamped it again (I fussy cut the coloured one and wanted to stamp it for the Balloon Strings.

I then glued my heart down and added my images using Foam tape. To finish off, I stamped my sentiment to the top of the panel.

I then die cut my snowflakes and glued them to the panel.

I added my Holiday Cheer dies to the bottom of the card and finished using some Pink Fresh gems.

Simon Says: Gifts!

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Gifts and we are featuring always amazing Lawn Fawn products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

I love gift tags! These were super fun to make. I started by ink blending with my Candy Cane Stencils on a piece of 4.25 x 8.5 Kraft card stock. I then added some glitter embossing so the Unicorn White ink wouldn't smear as I worked on them.

I die cut all of my elements for the candy canes from Tonic specialty card stock and put them together. I then added them to the tags using a mix of glue and foam tape. I stamped my sentiment and added the strips to the tags with foam tape.

To finish off, a Tim Holtz candy to the centre of the bow and some fantastic red twine from my stash!

Simon Says: Winter Blues

Hello crafty friends it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Winter Blues and we are featuring always amazing Tim Holtz products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

I am in love with this stencil by Tim Holtz, who wouldn’t want a large polka dot tree! I picked the Paper Rose patterned paper and some Tonic blue glitter paste. I set it aside to dry, once completely dry I put my panel between two heavy books so the paste would not warp the panel.

I « decorated » my tree using Pink Fresh Studio drops. I then die cut my Tim Holtz Noel die (most of my family is French Canadian) from two glitter card stocks and offset them. I liked the punch of red and it made the sentiment more visible.

Simon Says Stamp: DieCember is here!

Happy Sunday crafty friends! It's finally DieCember over at Simon Says Stamp!!! We are having a Blog Party to celebrate!

I love DieCember! Most festive month of the year with these amazing new products! I am sharing two cards today with products from the new release :)

This card is so going to my Mom, her Father had a love of birds and this sweet scene using the new Mod Plant Blocks stencils, the Rustic Nest dies, Winter Cardinal dies and the Christmas Botanicals Clear stamps will be perfect.

I ink blended my Mod stencil using Simon Says Stamp Marine Pawsitively Saturated ink then masking and stamping my foliage using Mist and Raindrop Pawsitively Saturated inks. I then die cut my elements and did some mild ink blending and put everything together using a mix of foam tape and glue.

I stamped my sentiment from the same stamp set and added some berried to the leaves!

This one is all about shine! I used all specialty card stock for maximum impact. The amazing die is the new Starburst Plate and I paired that with my favourite Joy die from a few years ago and some sweet Simon Says Stamp Snowflakes!

Go to the Simon Says Stamp Blog for the entire Party list!

I do love Anything Goes and I do LOVE MFT products! This die set is super fun, specially for a gift card! I die cut my pieces using the Gift Bag Die by MFT from some fun Lawn Fawn patterned paper and put it together using two sided tape.

I then die cut my handles from some Tonic Specialty Card Stock as well as the Joy die also by MFT. I do apologies for my pictures, I do not have a sophisticated lighting system, lol. I wait for proper natural light and it's late fall in Montreal... typically grey!
